{ CASE STUDY }
A London mover with international work that pays, sitting on page six for the searches that mattered. Twelve months on, average Google position is up 36 places, organic visits are up 72% year on year, and when someone asks an AI assistant who handles international removals from London, the answer is Pask's.

The work
{ THE CHALLENGE }
Invisible for the work that pays
Pask's are a strong operator in the hardest market in the country. London removals are owned by national names and comparison sites, and international removals is the segment where a local mover is least likely to be found. The site was technically clean, with a health score of 92%, and it was still nowhere. Average position across their searches was 54, which is page six. There was one page claiming to cover the whole of London and no borough depth. The international side, the moves that carry the margin, was not written down anywhere a search engine or an AI assistant could read: no destinations, no process, no credentials. Title tags put the brand first and buried the term people actually type. Health scores predicted nothing. The deficit was machine readability and depth.
{ WHAT WE DID }
Foundations first, then depth
We started where machines read. Ninety-five title tags were rewritten keyword-first, URLs were cleaned up, and structured data was added so Google could parse who Pask's are and where they operate without inferring it. Any page with fewer than twenty sessions a month got a manual review of readability and intent rather than a blanket refresh. Then we built depth. Borough pages for Greenwich, Lewisham, Tooting and Hackney replaced one thin London page. The international proposition became its own workstream: destination pages, a clear process, credentials on the page. Alongside that we built the third-party footprint, reviews, directories and mentions, because AI assistants answer from sources, not from a homepage. More than 280 pieces of work went live over the year, and 99% of what was planned was delivered.
AI visibility was treated as an outcome of proper SEO, not a separate trick. Assistants cite what they can read, trust and cross-reference.

{ THE RESULTS }
Page one, more visits, and named by the machines
Over the twelve months to July 2026 the average Google position improved by 36 places. Search Console clicks rose from 318 to 501 a month, up 58%, impressions doubled from 71,000 to 141,000, and 99 of 111 tracked keywords now sit on page one with 19 in the top three. Google Analytics tells the same story from the other side: organic visits were 861 in August 2026 against 500 in August 2025, up 72%, and 736 in July against 317 the July before. Around three quarters of that traffic is non-brand, so it is new customers finding Pask's, not existing ones searching the name. Then there is the part no other removals company we know of can show. AI assistants are now a traffic source in their own right: Analytics recorded 314 visits referred by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini in the twelve months to August 2026, and the monthly figure went from zero a year ago to 164 in August. We re-ran the check on 5 September 2026 with six international removals questions: Pask's are named by all five assistants, and cited with a link by Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Perplexity on the two head questions, who the best international removal companies in London are. When someone asks the machines who moves people out of London, the machines have an answer.
